My interest in photography started when I was in high school through the Of Soul and Joy project, which is a community photography school in the township of Thokoza. I exhibited my first body of work in 2018 through a group exhibition curated by the OSJ project at Stop Sign Art Gallery in Johannesburg. My work featured in the City Press newspaper, a national newspaper. I enjoy creating images that accommodate, engage and challenge audiences’ perspectives as well as to improve my understanding and grow as a photographer.
