Msizi Nkosi was born in Boksburg, a town East of Johannesburg. He began photographing at the age of 16, starting off as a street photographer. He completed a photography course with the Market Photo Workshop which is a renowned photography school in Johannesburg.
He is interested in photographing architecture structures and landscapes. He has also exhibited at Sibikwa Art Centre, as part of a group exhibition in 2018. The experience gained from Sibikwa expanded his photography skills and effectively impacted on his creativity.
He considers his medium of expression as authentic and a means to heal and share.
