Sikelela Mdilikwana is from uMtata, in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, and currently living in Johannesburg. He was introduced to photography in 2018 through the Of Soul and Joy Photography Project.
He will be involved in a group exhibition sometime end of 2019 showcasing all the photographers from Of Soul and Joy project. His work focuses on everyday life in the townships of Johannesburg and to also look at what connects people around him. He is of a generation that questions, and his work is about questioning the status of things and life in South African townships.
