Katiso Mabuza lives and works in Johannesburg as a freelancer for various companies. Mabuza studied photography at the Vaal University of Technology and graduated in 2012. He is strongly confident with colour photography. As an innovative photographer, he has created a series of conceptual photographs, which attest to his creativity.
Mabuza has a won a first in the Samsung student standout competition in 2012. He exhibited in Cape Town month of photography in 2011 under Vaal University of Technology. His work has been published in various magazines such as PIX and Wedding Collection Magazine.
Mabuza also believes in imparting photography skills to his community. He once hosted a short programme in photography around his community through the Gauteng Department of Sports Arts and Culture funding. Recently Mabuza is involved in another community project called Of Soul and Joy (Photography Project) as a photography trainer.
