Simphiwe Caluza is an experienced Photojournalist and a Market Photo Workshop alumni. In 2017 Caluza began his photography journey at the Market Photo Workshop where he took a keen interest in Photojournalism.
Caluza completed two short courses and the intense 12-month Photojournalism course. It was in this course that Caluza was exposed to the professional experience of working as a photojournalist. In 2019 Caluza interned at The Star, where he received assignments and worked alongside established photographers.
Caluza had his photographs published in the national newspaper and wishes to continue his working in print and digital media. Caluza has photographed the likes of President Cyril Ramaphosa and Julius Malema. Caluza is currently freelancing as a commercial and documentary photographer.
