Bella Makhubo is a freelance writer and journalist with a journalism qualification from the City Varsity School of Creative Arts and Media. Currently she works as a content creator at Youth Content Collective (YCC) in collaboration with Youth Employment Services (YES) and is studying towards a photography qualification at the Market Photo Workshop. Her line of work dabbles between creating content for social media platforms, writing articles on her blog and documenting life experiences through photography and videography.
Bella’s work has been featured on MARVIN (a men’s magazine founded by George Gladwin Matsheke), OwnUrCrown (a hair street culture blog owned by Nikiwe dlova), LiveMagSA, and on various online publications hosted and ran by the City of Johannesburg Municipality.
